Today I stand before you with an enraged soul and a message for all. On September/10/2014 a 14 year old took his own life at my school. His name I shall not tell, was and has been bullied for 3 years. And yet, in about 4 weeks......no one will even remember the incident. Because students have more important things to remember and take actions for. Like, remembering to pick on that kid that makes you more popular by the insult. Remembering to humiliate that person, because its funny. Remembering to trip that guy that sounds weird and then tell him why hes a screw up. This does happen, its called BULLYING: use of superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants./ (my definition.): Use of superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically for attention or popularity from others. Again this does happen, so much that it causes young people like this one....to take theyre own life. I myself have been bullied, and I myself have also bullied period. I regret my actions....I could have caused someone more than just pain, suffering, humiliation and hopelessness, but that persons life. So after a few days I approached this person, and as he started to step away in fear of humiliation......I clasped my hand to his shoulder and we sat down for nearly 30 minutes talking, apologizing, and then shook hands.......and after that day I saw this persons life transform into something happier, something better. I believe I may have possibly saved this persons life. Now ask your self, have you bullied? Be honest with yourself and do not become selfish. This question will tempt you, it will try to trick you. But do not allow it to.....because one day, you may have forced someone to think and truly believe that death was the way out. That death itself was better than that persons life. And before you know it, it may already be too late. I enrage in frustration and anger when things like this happen, and I could do nothing to prevent them. But I still have FAITH...NOT hope, but FAITH that I myself....you..and the world can prevent these things from happening in the FUTURE. Its as easy as 1,2,3,4.....1.if YOU ARE AWARE OF BULLYING TAKE ACTION. 2.CHANGE YOUR WAYS IF YOU ARE BULLYING OR NOT. 3. ALWAYS TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WISH TO BE TREATED, NO MATTER HOW MUCH OF A JERK OR ANYTHING THEY MAY ACT LIKE......YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEYRE PERSONAL LIFE MAY BE, AND IF IT HAS PROBLEMS OR NOT. 4. PASS THIS ON IF YOU ASK FOR A BETTER WORLD, RID OF THIS SICK DISEASE NAMED BULLYING. Those 4 steps, could save someone, it could save more than just someone,it could save dozens. Many of you today will forget this post, many of you will forget this incident......and many of you may not even care. But I ask you now.....how would YOU feel if someone you loved had committed suicide.....because of this sick and disgusting disease: Bullying. What if it was your sister, brother, or in this case/incident twin. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? I still have much, much more to tell....but for my last bit,I would like for everyone to join in some prayers for this persons family......thank you for reading this and god bless.
