Today I started orientation for my new job. I was so nervous because I had to leave Brady yesterday by himself until Thursday. I left notes for all the nurses to help them with Bradys schedule. Before I left I made sure Brady had everything he needed like dinner, drink, blanket, remote, NURSE CALL LIGHT.... He texted this morning that fell last night trying to get into bed. I thought he fell with the help of a nurse.... No. For some reason he didnt have his nurse call light so he tried to walk from his recliner to his bed by himself. I have told him over and over again that he still needs someone to at least be in the room with him when he is walking. He said he only bruised his knee. Thank God someone saw him fall and got right to him to help. I know he wants to be more independent but Im scared he is going to really hurt himself. I think he may have learn a lesson last night and knows how lucky he is that he didnt broke any bones. I miss him so much. I cant wait until Thursday when I get to go back to stay with him.
