Today I was in Wilmington for a mock trial. No bid deal, just some research group... But I did open carry as this event was in the Sheraton on Delaware Ave. Sat, stood and moved about all day from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm. After getting surveyed from the man in charged, I asked for my own survey. I had asked the group if my carrying my weapon made anyone fell uncomfortable. I was rather shocked, but relieved to hear the positive comments from everyone. Not one negative comment, not one nasty look as it was well received in town. A few went as far to say that they felt SAFE with me being there. Needless to say it was a great experience. Ironically, we get the same response at council meetings when we carry. The only ones who have problems are certain politicians.
