Today I was thinking about all of the changes in my life that my friend Rich Carey is directly responsible for: (I will now proceed to use the shift+enter key so I can make a post on FB using paragraphs because Rich just showed me how) 1. How to use the shift+enter key to make paragraphs on FB 2. Switching from PC to MacBook 3. How to read using your fist when you do not have your glasses 4. Using 1 Password to manage my army of websites that require authentication. 5. He taught me that writing disciplines thinking - (still having trouble with both) 6. Switching from Android to iPhone and then on to all things Apple 7. Co-created the worlds best live streaming video service with me called lightwire.tv 8. Helped me to move into the marketplace with my consultancy 9. Shamed me until I started using chopsticks in Chinese restaurants. I now adhere to the - Eating Chinese food with a fork is a sin doctrine. I now do my part in shaming others and bringing them into the fold. 9. He clarified the message of the Kingdom of God versus Christianity (Changes everything) 10. He stirred me up to understand politics at a different level. 11. Hes been a great theological ear and allowed me to explore dangerous territory and given honest and wise feedback (this also means hes partly to blame for some of my weirdness). 12. Theres a whole other list of trouble hes gotten me into as well but those things must remain classified until the end of time. Of course, this is the short list of lifehacks and mind-altering hermeneutical, philosophical, theological discoveries but Ill leave more for later. Just wanted to throw some love to my brother.
