Today I was working out at Planet Fitness. Let me provide a visual because it was awesome! To my left, a guy rocking out some seated bicep curls. To his left, a guy doing a vicious set of forearm exercises. Behind me from viewing in the mirror, was a guy in work boots and the longest pair of jean shorts I have ever seen doing seated machine rows. About 15ft away to my right was 3 guys shooting the shit around the chest press machine. Why did I notice all this you may ask? Once I started doing squats I felt like I was doing something wrong and the siren in the judgment free zone was about to start going off. I mean the free weight area is only for doing chest and arms right? Next time youre at the gym, do exactly the opposite of what everyone else is doing. Forget about those mirror muscles and doing cardio. Dont sit down on a machine or bench, but actually MOVE! As Erwan LeCorre of MovNat says, Dont be a Zoo Human.
