Today a friend and I took Bree shooting. It was out east by some boarder checkpoints. There were a few other people out there shooting when we got there and a border patrol agent had stopped to talk to them. He told us that he was no longer allowed to patrol the actual checkpoints because he, on multiple occasions had respected citizens constitutional rights and allowed them to pass without a search. He said he had blown the whistle on another agent who suggested that they claim the dog had reacted to the car so the could illegally search a car that was refusing to allow a search. Because of that his job is now on thin ice. Some of the other shit, hearing from a person like that, was enough to make me a little nervous. He claimed all the bullet hoarding from the NSA is all true and that none of this bullets were being used for target practice. He said theyre allowed practice four times a year only. Then he asked us to clean up after ourselves and have fun. And parted with a friendly I wouldnt use too much of your ammo though... Dude seriously sketched me out, not him personally, just what he was talking about. I wish there was more guys like him in positions of power that did not abuse it and stood up to those that do.
