We went to visit some close family friends for Thanksgiving outside Tampa, FL last week with the camper. I had a vibration that I detected in the truck before leaving. I was told it was probably the tires. Well, between Pensacola and Tallahassee it started getting worse. We stayed over in Tallahassee on Saturday night and finished the last 250 miles or so on Sunday, babying the truck. We made it, barely! between 25 and 30 mph the shaking was real bad. Well, it turned out to be the universal and yoke near the transfer case end and it took out the bearing that holds the forward section of drive shaft up. Someone was looking out for us. Thanks to Ed Morse Auto Complex in Port Richey, Florida for getting us all fixed up and giving us 5 star treatment!! Thanks Anthony, Service Advisor for keeping us updated and keeping our vacation on schedule! The tech said he didnt know how it didnt come apart and it was a good thing I wasnt towing anything. I laughed and told him what I was towing.
