Today after boxing, my 5 year old son walked into our house, sat - TopicsExpress

Today after boxing, my 5 year old son walked into our house, sat down, and started cutting pieces of paper and writing Buy A Wrap on them. He said he was going to be a wrap seller like me. Although it was really cute and kind of made me giggle a little, it was also a very astonishing moment for me. My 5 year old son grasped the message that I try to share with all of you on a daily basis. The message is...figure out what your goals are and find a vehicle that will help you reach them. Theres nothing wrong with working a 9-5, but I can almost guarantee you that your job is not going to get you to your goals; unless of course, your goals are very small. You see, a couple of days ago we talked about why mommy is selling these wrap things. I had a very grown up conversation with my son and shared with him my dreams and my goals. I told him that I want to buy a big house with lots of big rooms for him and his siblings and that I want to be able to spend time with them every day and not have to go to work because my boss says so. I also told him that I want to show other people how to do the same thing....he got it, he understood why Im doing what Im doing and how it will impact or lives. He told me that his dream is to go to Disneyland for 9 days and he will sell wraps to save the money up. Im making a goal chart for him and even though I want to make this happen for him, I plan to let him earn it for himself... it will be a great life lesson. Any suggestions from those of you in the direct selling/network marketing industry (friends and fam are more than welcome to chime in too) on how to work this work would be greatly appreciated! What are your goals? How do you plan to reach them? Can I help you?
