Today, as I woke up to prepare to preach at Restoration Church. My heart began to ache as I thought about my cousin Torin Crowder. He died not too soon, but when God wanted him. Yes, I am grieving. My entire family is grieving. At 31, we thought that even Torin had a lot of life to live. However, Torin lived life everyday. His family while hurting knows that God plans are far greater than ours. (Proverbs 16:1) One of my younger cousins, while sitting at the hospital said it best, Life is precious. If Torins life can make is ALL feel that way then Torins life will not be in vain. Please keep us in your prayers, especially my Uncle Darryl and my Aunt Tereon, as we begin to celebrate the life of a young man who was thrown a curve, but hit the ball out of the park every time. He still played the quints everyday, he still had a smile, still rooted for the home team-Falcons and Dawgs with the best of them!! I am going to miss our riding to and from Athens talking shop-UGA, ATL, & Georgia HS football. He would have been crazy about the Dawgs and Tech on yesterday -why didnt they kick it deep? Or they just gotta make plays. I will always hear him ask, Whats going on? Today and forever we will celebrate Torin life by being able to hit lifes curveballs like Torin did everyday! Love you dude! Till we meet again! Your big cousin!
