Today, from noon to 6 p.m., the Vilseck Veterinary Treatment Facility will hold a walk-in vaccine clinic. Patients will be seen on a first-come-first-serve basis, and an appointment is not needed. To serve the most patients possible, during this special event we will only see healthy animals for the following services: vaccines, fecal exams, heartworm tests (dogs), and feline leukemia/FIV tests (cats). The walk-in clinic will not be offering sick call appointments, health certificate appointments, or over-the-counter product sales. Because this clinic will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, all pets and their owners must be pre-registered at our clinic. We only accept registrations in person; however, an easy to print and fill-in form can be found on the USAG Bavaria website (grafenwoehr.army.mil). On the left hand side of the page, choose “Newcomers” and then “Pets”. Once on the “Pets” page, choose “Pet Pre-Registration,” and then choose the PDF called “VTF Registration”. Once you have completed the registration form bring it and any medical record information you have on your pet(s), to include, but not limited to, copies of vaccine records (military and civilian vets), records of any testing completed (to include blood work, and temperament testing), the yellow vaccine booklet, and/or the blue Pet Passport. This will allow us to register your pet at the Vilseck VTF prior to our walk-in Vaccine Clinic. Once you arrive, the clinic will have you fill in a canine/feline wellness questionnaire. If you have a yellow vaccine booklet and/or a blue Pet Passport please bring that with you as well. You can also stop by the clinic during our normal operating hours (Monday-Wednesday: 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.; Fri 9:30 a.m. to noon-1200 and 1-4 p.m.) The clinic accepts only debit/credit cards. No dollars/no euros.
