Today had nearly no drift. The sun was out all day compared to the past two days and the air up higher was much better. The result was many hangups in F1L. I hung 3 times and the last hangup resulted in my model being damaged beyond repair. I did get a 15 minutes flight in from about 60 feet altitude so wound a little more to go higher and the good air had me up at the roof and then was hung on a hanging cable. Last I knew a few 18-19 minute flights were posted by those lucky enough not to hang on a girder or cable. There is one cable on each arch so about every 30 feet is a cable hanging down to 75 feet. Sometimes you bounce off them sometimes you to stick right to them. So today was frustrating. Bill Gowen had a 9:55 in A-6 and Tom Sova was over 9 minutes last I knew. In ministick, Walt Van Gorder was leading with a nearly 12 minute flight with Larry Loucka not far behind.
