Today i awoke with a fire in me that i had not expected to feel. It engulfed and enraged me and would not dissipate until i looked into it at its core. I sat within its grasp until i found solace for myself for nearly 2 hours. I wrote everything down i felt in these moments to gather understanding about the rage inside and i sat in silence for a time until i found a feeling of peace again. What came after this was the courage to act on my convictions, and with that my path forward and my decisions and actions were met with clarity, sincerity and commitment. I took charge of the truths i believe in and the day began to unfold. Thank you everyone that stood up and shared, commented, confronted or simply read what i presented here today. I learnt that fear of the unknown can not touch a fearless heart and that doing something is far more important than doing nothing in the face of so much that clearly needs attention and desperately needs all of us to care about. Making a commitment to the truth of one convictions and a call to action is a contribution that matters no matter how big or small. I feel good about that. Tomorrow another opportunity to make a difference is upon all of us and i look forward to what may come my way and will do my very best to act according to convictions of the truths i believe are Good and right. If we all do a little a whole lot will happen. I look forward to all that may come. This country of ours has been led by some greatly inspired people that always had the interest of its people at heart first and foremost.
