Go》》》》》》 Bollywood superstars who are popular worldwide because of their glitz and glamour and are adored by their crazy fans because of the larger than life characters that they portray on-screen don’t seem so glamorous when we take a look at their academic accomplishments. Bollywood is full of stars from different backgrounds – some educated, a few well-educated and some for whom education was never a cup of tea. Below is a list of our favorite Bollywood superstars and their achievements in the field of education. Amitabh Bachchan – The shehenshah of Bollywood is definitely the most educated superstar in Bollywood and is a shehenshah here too. A Amitabh Bachchan son of renowned author Hariwanshrai Bachchan was into education from the very beginning as he never thought of becoming a Bollywood actor until he realized it. He graduated from the Sherwood College in Nanital, and later he went on to do a double major in Science and Arts from the Kirori Mal College in Delhi. Now you know the secret behind all the knowledge and discipline that he possess in his personal life. Shah Rukh Khan – The next most popular Bollywood superstar after Amitabh Bachchan has had is fair share of education. Shah Rukh Khan is an alumnus of Hansraj College in Delhi as it was here that he got his graduation degree. Later on he did join the Jamia Millia Islamia College in New Delhi for a Master’s degree in Mass Communication but could never complete it as he had to pursue his dreams of making it big in Bollywood, and we guess he did the right thing or else how would we get classics like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaenge and Kal Ho Na Ho. Salman Khan – More famously know as the most eligible bachelor in Bollywood actually doesn’t have a bachelor’s degree, yes folks he is a college drop out from the National College in Bandra. Salman Khan went to the Scindia School in Gwalior during the staring years of his school life and then later on finished his High School in Bandra, Mumbai. Salman Khan belonging to a family with a background in film industry always wanted to be an actor and so left his studies to achieve stardom and without a doubt he has it now. But the most interesting thing is that the saying ‘people with huge body do not have brains’ actually proved true in this case. Aamir Khan – Well we audiences definitely regard him as the most intelligent Bollywood star, but that’s not actually the case. Aamir did his 12th standard from Narsee Monjee College in Mumbai, but he was more into dramatics and so barely attended classes. And since he was never interested in studies, he didn’t even try to go to a college and straight away tried his luck in Bollywood movies and as we know he definitely is the most shining star in tinsel town now with some of the all time biggest movies to his name. Akshay Kumar – Better know as the khiladi of Bollywood isn’t much educated either. Akshay Kumar studied at Don Bosco and at Guru Nanak Khalsa College at King’s Circle in Mumbai but was never too much into studies, he was always active in sports. He even dropped out of college and went to Bangkok to study martial arts. Well his skills in martial arts definitely helped him to make it big in Bollywood. Saif Ali Khan – The royal Khan and prince of Bollywood is quite educated. Said Studie at the Lawrence School in Sanawar and then later joined Lockers Park School in Hertfordshire, England. Belonging from a royal family he later on followed his father’s footstep and attended the prestigious English public school Winchester College. Well so now you know where Saif gets his accent from, but we are not complaining as he definitely is or rather now has become a talented actor and has done some good and meaningful movies. And it is because of his polished looks that he is dating the most successful actress in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor. Hrithik Roshan – The Greek God of Bollywood was not so good looking when he was college but who really cares about that now. With a perfect 10\10 physique he definitely is the hottest star in Bollywood. Hrithik is a graduate in commerce and he got his graduation degree from the Sydenham College in Mumbai. Before that he did his schooling from the Bombay Scottish School. Hrithik always wanted to be a movie star for which he really worked hard and finally made it to Bollywood. Abhishek Bachchan – Like his father Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek set out to achieve high educational qualifications but couldn’t make it due to some issues. He did his schooling from Modern School in New Delhi and then Jamnabai Narsee and then Bombay Scottish in Mumbai. He finished his schooling from Aiglon College, a private English boarding school in Switzerland. Then he went to Boston University to get his graduation degree but had to drop out when his father’s company ABCL went into losses. John Abraham – John is one of the highly qualified actors in the Bollywood industry. After completing his schooling from Bombay Scottish School, he graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. He then got a degree in MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from MET (Mumbai Educational Trust). So there is a lot of brain behind those bulging muscles, but who actually thought of it. Shahid Kapoor – For him it was Gyan Bharati School in Delhi till standard fourth and then he went to Rajhans Vidyalaya in Mumbai to complete his schooling. Shahid later on got his graduation degree from Mithibai College in Mumbai. It was during his college time that Shahid started dancing in Shamak Dawar’s dance troop and later on bagged a role in his debut movie Ishq Vishq. Arjun Rampal – The model turned actor and now a successful movie star has had a good education in the past. Arjun has a graduation degree to his name and he graduated from the Hindu College in Delhi. But who really cares about his educational qualifications, Arjun is a looker with a chiseled body and an honest smile. Fans are more concerned about his smile rather than being bothered about his educational achievements. Emraan Hashmi – The serial kisser of Bollywood is a graduate too. Emraan graduated from the Sydenham College in Mumbai and a very normal college life. It was only after getting into Bollywood and doing movies such as Murder that he became a house-hold name and was rewarded with the title of serial kisser for repeatedly kissing actresses on-screen. Farhan Akhtar – The most talented person in the Bollywood industry did his schooling from Maneckji Cooper in Mumbai and then went on to get a graduation degree in commerce from the H R College in Mumbai. Farhan, son of the legendary lyricists and story writer Javed Akhtar is a multi-talented star. He directs acts, sings and what not. He definitely is the new breed of Bollywood stars despite of being old in compare to the actually new ones. Ranbir Kapoor – The pin-up boy of Bollywood has a fair bit of education. Ranbir completed his schooling from the Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai and then attended the H R College in Mumbai to get his graduation degree. He then later on went for a course in method acting from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. Besides cousin Kareena, Ranbir is the only actor in the Kapoor family to have gained a college level education. Ranbir without a doubt is very talented actor and now you know where all that acting comes from. Imran Khan – The boy next door of Bollywood and the one you girls would like to take to your parents is quite intelligent. Imran has done his early schooling from the Bombay Scottish School and was a year junior to Ranbir Kapoor. But he actually completed his schooling from a boarding school in Ooty. He then returned back to Mumbai and got into the St Xavier’s College for a graduation degree but couldn’t complete it. Imran then later on shifted to California to live with his father, Anil Pal and it was there that he finished his Graduation. And then he did a filmmaking course in New York before entering Bollywood. Prateek Babbar – He is better known as the son of legendary actress Smita Patil and seems to be equally talented. Prateek has done his schooling from AVM Bandra, Mumbai. He then moved on to Jai hind College and later St Andrew’s College, but he didn’t complete his graduation and dropped out halfway through to pursue his dream of becoming famous in Bollywood like
