Today in History has 326 fans. But only 14 saw the most recent post. Only 20 saw the one before that. Facebook says that all fans and their friends of Today in History can see all posts... for a price. $30 per post, in fact. After doing a little research, I learned that the only way to overcome this horrible inefficiency without paying is to be one of those pages that constantly posts 1 Like=1 Respect or some other form of unsympathetic exploitation to get you to boost the reach of the page in hopes of getting advertising money from Facebook. So my advice to you, if you think you are missing some posts, go over to the liked button on the page and click get notifications. But only if you dont want to miss out on anything. Dont do it if you feel you will be annoyed by it. Here is a promise from me, the admin of this page: I will not pay to boost posts, I will not post ridiculous memes or pictures to coax people into liking and sharing, and I will only continue to do what I do on this page; give you daily interesting facts about events in history. Im not here to make money from ads. Im only here to share with you, my friends, my genuine love of history. If you want to like a post, I feel comfortable in knowing that you actually like the post and are not guilted into liking it. Thats how Today in History is and thats how Today in History will remain. Thank you to all my fans!
