Today in our world of Rescue/Volunteer/Foster our huge thanks goes out to “Family ATA Martial Arts” on FM2920, Carla Bruno, The Ressureccion Family their students, parents, friends and family extended their support, time, effort and money to reach out and support MCAS and some of the unwanted, unloved and abandoned dogs and cats that find themselves a resident of the county. In a sometimes thankless and dishearten effort to rally for all the animals at the shelter we can sometimes feel defeated and sadden at our efforts, today you renewed the hope that people care and they are out there waiting to help and to adopt. In all our times to pull up to the shelter, load the dogs and head off to an adoption event with a hopeful heart your group made one of my dreams come true, for my husband and I returned not one dog back to the shelter. Although we transported today a small number of dogs NOT one went back and I will be forever grateful your group helped make that happen. MCAS thanks you; I thank you, my husband Mark Bowlin, coordinators Rebecca Overstreet Velasco, Christi Watson Fauver, Deb Matovich and their husband thank you.
