Today’s Bible Verse: 29 July, 13 Monday. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3) In Christ Dear Brothers and Sisters, The Bible says, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things” (Colossians 3:2). Even David the Psalmist said, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God” (Psalm 42:1). Some people would believe only when they see. Lord Jesus must appear to them. Dearly beloved, we should not be like that. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. The Lord is always with you (Isaiah 41:10, 13-15). Let us seek the Lord sincerely and with all humility. Then we will find Him. We will also receive His abundant blessings and do great exploits for the Lord. Deborah was just an ordinary woman like us (Judges 4:4). But she was a prophetess, judge and considered to be the mother of Israel. King Jabin rose up against the people of Israel and he cruelly oppressed them. It was at this juncture the Lord asked Deborah to tell Barak to fight against them. Barak who was one of the commanders of the army of Israel told Deborah, “If you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me, I will not go.” In this manner, God honored Deborah. Dearly beloved in Christ! What do our family members and those who are known to us say about us? Are we leading an anointed spiritual life in such a way that others tell us, “You go, I will follow you.” The Lord calls you and me by name and says, “My child, you shall become a blessing to your family. I will certainly grant you all My gifts and use you in a greater magnitude in the days to come.” We ought to be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit all the time (Psalm 23:5). Let us spend much of our time in matters concerning God. The Lord who used Deborah is not a respecter of persons. Let us not underestimate ourselves by saying, “I have a lot of shortcomings”, “I am unfit” and “I have no wisdom.” Instead, let us “arise and shine for God. Rise up like a lion for God (Isaiah 60:1). Let us cry out to God saying, “Lord, I will not leave You until You fill me with Your love.” Let us cling on to Him firmly in prayer just like Jacob. The Lord is eager to exalt us. Dearly beloved in Christ! May the Lord bless you and enable you to realize the greatness of seeking Him faithfully with all godliness and humility and transform you to arise and shine for Him. Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 2:6 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” Most Gracious Heavenly Father, we seek You sincerely and with all humility. Shower Your abundant blessings on us. Transform us to arise and shine for You. Exalt us in life and use us as an instrument for Your glory. Make each one us as a blessing for others. Thank You Lord for doing it so. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. God Bless You All and Shalom.
