Jesus was tempted by the Devil with Bread, with a false use of the Word of God, with Short Cuts. Not necessarily bad things but in our Faith Walk we too will be tempted by externals, sometimes by Religiosity or misusing Scripture without knowing the compassionate heart of God or Short Cuts.
