Today is 1 month since I broke my ankle. Many have helped me throughout this time. I sure needed it! I was able to finish dreaded paperwork and spend time at home with my kids. During this time I wasnt able to have my daily visits with Nacho. Thanks to everyone that covered for me. I was more emotional than usual, while away. I didnt want him to think that I had abandoned him. He went church yesterday. He was so sensitive throughout the whole song service. So were a lot of us. It was a good one. Lol So today was my first day back at the facility for my shift. I gave myself a pep talk, got in the wheelchair and went down the ramp to the car. My boys watched to see if I needed help. I put the chair in the back of the car myself and hopped to the driver seat. So far so good. At the facility, I got nearest handicap parking, unloaded my wheelchair and made it into the front doors, just fine. When I got to Nachos bedside I called his name. He opened his eye to peek out. -Tear- I just love him!! I talked to him, prayed for him, and read him the bible. He just watched as usual. A lady came in to give him his Monday massage. (Yes, his mama spoils him) The lady said that once she started massaging and praying for him, good things have been happening for her and her business. Later, Nacho was relaxing and I was super tired. I laid my head on a pillow next to him. When I opened my eyes he was staring at me. Then we would both close our eyes. As I peeked at him, he opened his eyes to do the same thing. I started laughing. We did it over and over. Maybe he couldnt believe I was there All day, like before. Lol When it was time to leave, I prayed for him, turned on the TV and said goodbye. He was watching me hop to the wheelchair and gather my stuff. He was peeking out from the corner of his eye. It was sure hard to leave him today!! I can tell he missed me. The kids anxiously ask if anything new has happened. God is still doing HIS thing. We wait with great expectation! Its so worth it! TYJ!
