Today is Armed Forces Day and it marks another historical day in the history of LIB. Today is the 57 Armed Forces Day and it is a day that everyone of us far or near must appreciate. Interestingly after 15yrs of civil conflict we will usher in a new Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia who is a Liberian. Let us not forget the tireless efforts of our African brothers and sisters who have stood the test of time in making sure that we reach where we are today. In this public maner I like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of our African brothers and sisters for the role they have and continue to play in the restructuring of the Armed Forces of Liberia and the Security Sector at large. Today marks the beginning of a new day in our country history and as such we must live up to the task. Finallly, I like to call on all well meaning Liberian to help support this cause.
