Today is a day of profound gratitude. I am acknowledging men to day. Man at the level of their essence. Matthew Canterbury...I am so great in your listening. I dont even have to understand it to believe it when you are giving me your guidance. Thank you. My dear Max Cameron who sees things I cannot yet see and has me realize them with no force or persuasion, only love, the best domination. My friend E, who is not on Facebook, for being playful and outrageously living on the fringe, keeping an irreverent distance form the illusions of our current reality and only entertaining the artful beauty of life. So many others, Todd, Michael, Jim, Joe, and others who shared in my first Seattle seminar at Landmark in 2009, Matt Nadler for being the loving and attentive SELP leader then friend and confidante and yoga and hiking partner, Bill Weaver for that thing you said to me at Todds house one summer day ( it has never left me ), Gene for the ridiculous love you have been willing to unfold and share, Thom for being unrelentingly demanding for the women you love, Kelvin, Aaron, Patrick, John, Jay McManus, Jonathan, Marc, Casey, Emmet, Mark, Geoffrey, our common love and work in this thing we call transformation ( and there are so many of you right here ), Ken you are quite possibly the most kind, deliberately loving, thoughtful man I have ever known and I am embarrassed at my own ruth-lessness when I am present to who you are, the ever and incomparable Vassily whose dedication and devotion to being a contribution knows no bounds. Jeremy, well, who can hook me and get me fascinated in things I never dreamed of? Thank you. I am specifically thanking all of you because you are men who contributed by choice. I am not related as family to any of you and you owed me absolutely nothing. Thank you for offering who you are to make a difference for someone, in that case today, the humbled Timid Tramp, who would not be, without you. Ever grateful and ever yours in the gift this life is. Carry on beautiful men you all are. You are what is good and right about this world and by being so give women the space and the strength to be their best selves too.
