Today is a good day. Two years ago, on this very day, a special someone decided to leave their wings and heavenly form behind and join us terrestrial dwellers on the surface. Two years ago I received a true blessing, little Angel was born. A tiny bundle of love, a runt, jam packed with all sorts of vitamins and minerals, riboflavin,,, and dog stuff... Angel (to be named Nala shortly after birth), a pint sized hamster look-alike, came to this realm two years to this date and ever since then, my life has been filled with happiness, joy, loyalty, responsibility, and grace, because of her. Two years to this date, I found my very own road dog, my companion, my best friend,, my daughter. Two years to this date, I was blessed with a gift like no other. You see, today is my birthday yes, but today is also the day my dog, my confidant, my day 1, little miss Nala Douché was born. Today she turns two (14 in dog years).
