Today is a very sad day for all of us here. Willie has gotten his Angel wings and gone to the Rainbow Bridge. My heart has lost another piece. Candace (his wonderful foster mom) is driving down this weekend to bring me a water tub for my goats and to visit with him one last time. I tried to keep him going for that visit but I couldnt let him go on any longer. A couple of weeks ago I thought I was going to loose him but he pulled through. He had Vestibular disease and it seemed to have gotten a lot better but then it came back, he couldnt walk. It was more then that though, the vet felt he was wasting away with Cancer. He didnt want to eat, just sleep. He lost about 30 pounds in a month or so. He had had 4 surgeries to remove Mast Cell Cancers. The vet thought it was possible that there was one in his brain which caused the Vestibular disease. He will always be in my heart and one of the best dogs I ever lived with. God bless you Willie, your eyes and body have been restored. Look for Ember big boy, she will share her fluffy pillow with you and you shared yours with her. I love you. Mom
