Today is day 11. Today I am thankful for my Grandaddy. Being Vets Day Im thankful for him serving in Vietnam and not just him, but all other vets too! Even though were not communicating right now I love my Grandaddy with every single inch of my heart. He has done so much for me... He has taught me to love instead of hate, to smile even when it hurts, to never take life for granted, but most of all he has taught me that just because you have ha a rough past doesnt mean you cant straighten up and make yourself a beautiful future. Today I wish I could call him and tell him how much I appreciate him and how much respect I have for him... I dont understand my life or some of the people in it, but I do know that god has a purpose for every happening and I never question him. I have been strong with him and strong in my faith. I know he will show me brighter days, even if the ones Im encountering right now are all rainy- soon there will be sunshine :) Im blessed to have this man as my grandfather. Grandaddy, youre the best and I hope youve had a good day! Love, your sidekick.
