Today is such an exciting day for me...Off the Mat, Into the World™ announced their 2015 Global Seva Challenge to Kenya in partnership with The Village Experience and The Village Cooperative. As most of you know, Kenya is very special to me, and I couldnt be happier about the focus of the challenge and the partners we have chosen. Female Genital Mutilation and Early Forced Marriage is an incredibly important topic and Samburu GIRLS Foundation and Tasaru Ntomonok Initiative are amazing organizations rescuing young girls and battling these social injustices against women every single day. Agnes Pareiyo and Josephine Kulea are truly inspirational women that each and every person on this challenge will fall in love with...they have dedicated their lives to ending FGM and Early Forced Marriage in Kenya and the world in general. This will be a trip you never forget as you encounter the Masai Tribe in the South and the Samburu Tribe in the North and work on building much needed rescue centers and educating the community on the hazards of these cultural practices.
