Today many computer users facing issue with autorunfiles and created in the removable media. We have solution for this.Steps are:- 1. You have to create batch file to run-- a)Open a notepad and enter the following command @echo off attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d f:\*.*--- in this command f: stands for removable media drive letter,it may vary with the drives in your computer. b)Then save the file as *.bat file at any where. 2.Then connect removable media and run the above batch file.This process will restor the original files of the shortcuts. 3.Then select the original important files and backup to another location. 4.Then format the removable media. 5.Eject the removable media from computer. After finishing the above steps 1.Download the zip file from this link 4shared/get/umWBPILX/shortcut_removal.html 2.After completing download extract the file to desktop. 3.Open the shortcut removal folder and execute AutoRunExterminator. 4.Then open the same from system tray and tick the two options and select minimize. 5.This process we are done to prevent the autorun attack again.
