Today marks 4 years since I started I Can Teach My Child! I can hardly believe it. I started this blog when my boys were 2 1/2 and 7 months as a way to keep myself accountable to being intentional with them. As a former first grade teacher, I recognized that the first few years of a childs life are so very important in every way. I wanted to be sure that I was doing everything I could to help our boys grow and learn through play and hands-on activities. As I began sharing what we were doing, I realized I had a passion for helping other parents recognize that they are (and always will be) their childs FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT teacher (no matter where your child is schooled). It has been such an honor to share our lives with you, even in such a small way. Thank you for being part of this diverse yet likeminded community of parents who strive to foster a love of learning in their homes! I am so thankful for each of you!
