Today my friend and patient confidant, Moustafa died. He was a model of all that pit bulls truly are.....loving, devoted and brave. Two months ago the vets told me that he had a week or so before the inoperable tumor would take his life. I will cherish these two months forever. Fourteen years of memories....I was prepared to take him for his final visit, but without any indication of pain or discomfort, in his typical style, he wagged his tail, licked my hand, put his head on my lap and joined all of his friends who have gone before him. I love you Staffa. Sleep well my buddy, sleep well.
