Today on Love at 11: I made a mistake of judging a book by its cover and now I’ve had a serious shock. My guy seemed like this serious hardworking guy full of principles but I realized he is unemployed and has been all along. He claimed he was an entrepreneur and every time I called him he would be in town saying he’s so busy, but guess what, he just does these small deals that aren’t even consistent and now he’s asking me for a loan. He says it is to set up offices but in my opinion, I don’t even think he’s doing anything worth having an office for. I’m so disappointed because I had put my hopes in this guy and much as I don’t want to quit the relationship in a rush, I don’t want to give him this money. We’ve argued about finances before and the last time I refused he ended up borrowing from some money lenders who bugged him coz he was delaying to pay them back. I have a weakness for him and I’m considering giving him the money. Never know, maybe it will help him start a successful business. Should I just close my eyes and help out my man. Is this the sacrifice people refer to when they say relationships are about sacrifice? Constance
