Today started with Nick pretty exhausted, and he hit a low point that I have never seen him at. Saddened because he didnt want the tumors taking over his body and honestly thought he would beat this. It was a very difficult morning, as a matter of fact it has been a tough three days. After sitting with him, talking him through it, and holding his hand, he finally fell asleep. We took turns sitting with him while he slept, so when he woke up he wouldnt be alone. After very long nap, our warrior woke up, and asked to ride his scooter. I honestly questioned if that would ever happen again two days ago. Nick got up, got dressed, and headed outside with all of us watching in amazement. He took his scooter for a spin with Mr Williams, road the big wheel, and his bike. He enjoyed chatting it up with Megan, Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey, who all were pleasantly surprised to see Nick up and around since earlier today I painted a completely different picture. Nothing like having the kid prove me wrong, and I will take it! Tonight he is laying here playing the new Smash Bros game Jeremy got for him. Moment by moment...we are continuously blessed with this kid as he continues to fight with all of his might.
