Today the Dems in the Senate in an act of desperation changed the rules in the house suspending the filibuster to allow a simple up or down vote on appointments of the President. They did this for 2 reasons 1. deflect the news cycle away from the fiasco of Obamacare and 2. Get the federal judges appointed in the Federal circuit appeals courts to ensure the coming regulations will be upheld. This shall be remembered as the day the Senate died as a separate body apart from congress. And when the Conservatives win the Senate next year they will expand this power and It will never be returned as a check for the minority party to have a voice and a chance to slow down and ponder the effects of laws and appointments we will continue our decline into the morass of just another democracy doomed to fail! Both sides have threatened this many times before but had the good sense to back away. Well you that voted for this transformational change in our nation you just got it! Remember to thank a Democrat for this! The final nail in our coffin as a Republic.
