Today the #Indian democracy touched a new low with Sushma Swaraj , Minister of External Affairs in the Modi led NDA government refusing to let a short discussion to be conducted in Parliament over the ongoing crisis especially the state terror of #Israel against the #Palestinians confined to the biggest open air prison in the world called #Gaza. She said, “We have diplomatic ties with both nations. Any discourteous reference to any friendly country can impact our relations with them. Her wordings are enough in themselves to prove that she was sure that no one will condemn Palestine or Palestinians rather everyone in the discussion including many from her own party would have condemned Israel if the discussion was allowed to be initiated. There is nothing new about the sympathy of successive Indian governments towards Israel over last two decades since the “ Knickerwalla under a dhoti “ Prime minister of Congress Narsimha Rao bypassed the Nehruvian ideology to have get into direct diplomatic relations with the Zionist state. The previous successive Congress led UPA government also preferred to remain as mute spectators whenever it came to condemn Israel from the top against its deadly oppression of the Palestinians. After all if a terrorist state as Israel becomes your biggest arms supplier such things are bound to happen. You can never run with the hare and hunt with the hounds as there comes a time when you have to side either with the right or wrong. You cannot do hypocrisy under the garb of being diplomatic. India should surrender its membership of the same NAM which was a result of a straight forward Nehruvian foregn policy. It’s an open secret that the Indian establishment can never utter a single word against Israel, come what may. By the way, here is a good news for the “ nationalists” who are enjoying after watching the suffereings of the Palestinians ; the death toll in the Israeli bombings over Gaza has crossed 200 with the shelling by an Israeli naval ship killing four boys , in fact Muslim terrorists ( in view of “ great “ author #ChetanBhagat ) on a Gaza beach. Enjoy guys the “terrorists” and as well as “ potential terrorists” are being hounded and pounded by the army of Indias great friend Israel…..#Shame
