Today was Friend Day for us at Rome First Assembly. This was a huge day that we have been preparing for. I have to say that when something can go wrong, everything goes wrong. I woke up barely being able to talk, so I didnt need to strain my voice. At the very beginning of my message the sound system decides to completely burn out. There goes my microphone and my praise and worship. Trying not to panic I keep the service moving while Pastor Josh Holly and a few others throw together the youths sound system. Thank you Jesus it worked the rest of the time. I may have ended service with a very squeaky voice, but the Lord has blessed me tremendously! I could not have made it without the fantastic team of people that jumped in to help me!! I also have to add... I was planning for 40 kids (our average is 25)..... We had about 50 children in our Childrens area! It was packed out! I wouldnt have been able to fit anymore! God is amazing, and he makes it all work in the end! So powerful! I am amazed beyond words!
