Today was a good day of Lifting. Dan Anderson brought back my Fender Hot Rod Deville amp. He installed and biased new tubes, replaced missing hardware, and thoroughly cleaned the whole amplifier. All this entailed much work, and running around on his part, and he charged very little for the work. We now have an all tube amp guitar sound, and the tonal change really is amazing. We are recording all our practices now, and are getting a more refined sound with every practice. It is obvious Dan and Brad are playing their instruments a lot. I think by the end of the year we will have CDs worth of material to give to our friends. Its exciting to be writing and playing original music with a full rock n roll band! I can hardly wait until next Sunday!
