Today was a great day for an installation at American Legion Post 323. The 2013-2014 officers took their oath and we are set for next year. Tomorrow is my last day in the Office at the Post and I have mixed emotions. I so want to leave, but will miss everyone so very much. At installation the Post presented me with a beautiful necklace that has my birthstones in it. It is so pretty. I was totally surprised and never expected anything, just thank you was enough. I appreciate the necklace and will cherish it forever. Thank you for American Legion Post 323, American Legion Auxiliary 323, Sons of the American Legion Squadron 323 and Legion Riders Chapter 323. I consider all of you like family as the Legion Family is part of my family. Tomorrow I will wrap things up with the accounting with George E Becker Jr. Packed items to take with me and then I can start to enjoy our oldest daughter Tonya Hall Hill and family arriving tomorrow for a week. Hoping everyone is having a Blessed Sunday evening.
