Today was another day spent out spreading the word on helpinglostpets. I have learned in doing this that helpinglostpets means something different to everyone. To our pet owners, it means hope that someone will hear about the database and do a search and reunite them with their missing pet. To me, it means more of our missing pets will get back home and less will be in shelters and it will free up more resources for the pets that truly need our help. But today, I got one two words from the shelter that I visited and it was powerful.. to them, it means SAVING LIVES! So thank you to everyone who is sharing the word on helpinglostpets, on our mission and on our missing pets. And as always, thank you helpinglostpets for all that you do to help our pet owners, their missing pets and our shelters. Together we can all make a difference.
