Today was another presenting day. Russ and I met three Michigan Veterans. Sean, Army Afghanistan; Audrey, Army Gulf War; and Megan, Army Gulf War. All three were very appreciative of their quilts. It is sometimes hard to match a quilt with a Veteran without much personal knowledge. One of the quilts I had on hand had larger squares of red and white with various floral and paisley prints. I choose that quilt for Megan. As she held the quilt on her lap, she was stroking the individual squares. She then told me that she loved red flowers and that paisley prints were her favorites. I dont know how I did it, and I hope I can do it again, but it seems I made the perfect choice. What a wonderful day. Off we go again tomorrow for three more.
