Today was deadlift day for myself. Around 45 minutes of just deadlifts and then some exercises that are called Accessory work. These added exercises were stiff legged deadlifts superset with back extensions. My abs are on fire. This compound exercise (deadlift) is more effective than the ab crunch that you see on late night TV. It is good to isolate your abdominals and lower back but focus on compound exercises like deadlifts and squats for a great core!!! Without using your core as a base for these two exercises you will not be able to properly execute them. Luke :)
