Today was one of those days. My husband is sick in bed with a foot infection and the babysitters canceled last minute. With meetings scheduled at work and my kids in the car with no where to take them, I simply told my office that I couldnt make it in. I have never done that before, but God left me no choice - and it is obvious that my kids safety and happiness is my priority. Dressed in my work clothes, I parked the car next to the beach and spent the day watching my kids have the time of their lives. It was obvious by our attire that we werent prepared for a beach day, but we made sand castles, dug deep holes, and jumped the waves. As the sun was setting and my kids were starting to get cold, a woman came and put a towel on them. Youre a great mom, she told me, not knowing my story, but seeing that we were not prepared for a beach day. Thank you so much, I told her, and gave her a hug. Sometimes strangers are sent by God!
