Today was trial day!! Charges were DISMISSED!! So extremely happy after spending a few months completely disillusioned by the juvenile criminal justice system. I am so glad that when we were going to accept the guiltyty plea last month I spoke up and told the judge that the reason we were was because we couldnt afford an attorney despite knowing my son was innocent and that the judge had a conscious and realized we had been proclaiming his innocence since day one. My faith in the justice system has been restored. My sons future isnt ruined over a lie.
