Today we are sharing a very special dog by the name of PollyAnna! Those of you who have been following us for awhile may remember that PollyAnna has been with us for quite some time and was pretty sick when she came to us. Based on PollyAnnas symptoms, we believe she may have survived the deadly distemper disease; although she is healthy now, this has left her with some neurological quirks Poll...yAnna will need a special home that is accepting of these quirks. To start, her gait is a bit off- she doesnt so much walk as hop (its pretty darn cute actually). She also nibbles on your fingers in a playful/affectionate way (but does not bite down). Because of this nibbling, she will need to go to a home with older children. PollyAnna would prefer a quiet home with either no other dogs, or a mellow/submissive dog she can get to know. PollyAnna LOVES walks and gets so excited when you put her leash on. She is a low maintenance dog and is happy to hang out near you or on fluffy pillows. She is a super sweet gal who has been though so much and deserves a special home to call her very own.
