Today we hung out at the white sand beach here at Barcelo Punta Cana ( just in case anyone wants to google it to check it out) and ate at the buffet so we could get bread and rice to feed the fish when we went on our snorkeling adventure. We went on our own power small speed boats lead by a guide named Chocolate like the Johnny Depp movie. He was quite a cutie and he was fun. Gene and Steve were about the only guys that knew how to drive a boat. We were lead out to a reef and had to get off of the boat and into the water without the use of a ladder, which was quite comical to say the least and i did call Gene some bad names when he helped me into the water before I was ready and of coarse I went under and came up coughing, spitting and sputtering and telling to go F------ himself. Sorry honey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But you know I am not brave when it comes to water that is OVER MY HEAD.................... We saw beautiful fish and of coarse my underwater camera was not working so not sure what if anything I got on film. Saw a lion fish, parrot fish, lots of beautiful colors, star fish, and on and on, 2 guys had to fall my fat ass back into our small boat and my right leg froze on me and had to stop and stay put until it started moving again and I was so afraid that I was going to fall back into the water. It was funny and scary at the same time. NO FUNNY HEATHER.......... :-) Gene and I got dressed for dinner and went to a nice Italian Dinner at La Dolche Vita ( I know it doesnt sound Italian) I had Caprese, Gene had Caesar and we both ha Lasagna with beef and Mozzarella which was excellent. We walked down to the lobby area and watched the pouring down rain that happened here at night. Gene was hoping for some beautiful lightening. It has been doing that lately when it rains, but we didnt see any tonight. Then I went to the Premier club where we go to have breakfast or drink where they cater to us we have the upgraded rooms and help us get our computer access, dinner reservations, and that sort of things. It has a big screen tv and nice over stuffed couch and chairs and is cool place to sit and drink or have a snack or meal where there are not a lot of people. On Friday - Sunday there are a lot of locals that hand out and it is really busy and noisy here and no one can come in without a shirt or shoes and special bracelet. Yessica and Angela are the 2 regular girls that work and Rosa is the boss lady. When you ask Rosa how she is, she answers More beautiful than Yesterday lifts her hair (Which is short) and walks away with a wiggle in her walk. She is so funny. Everyone is so much fun and so sweet and helpful. We are having the time of our life. Well, tomorrow is a free day, Gene and I are talking of going tandem parasailing and to the mall to finishing his shopping. Then zip lining at the 12-zip place where we had lunch the other day.
