Today we lost two deputies from the Sacramento Sheriffs Dept and the Placer County Sheriffs Dept. These men proudly served their community and were willing to give their lives in protecting the people they serve. As my friends know, I try to support my political parties and sports teams on FB but please, as a sign of respect to these two men, put these trivial pursuits aside. We should spend the next few days honoring these men who made the ultimate sacrifice. I will not be participating in these pursuits so please do not engage me. I hope my friends will honor my humble request as a sign of respect to all those serving to keep us safe. God Bless all those who served or have served our community in protecting us. Please look over our fallen brothers and keep them in your prayers. Lastly, pray for the families and the brother/sister officers of the Sacramento Sheriffs Dept and Placer County Sheriffs Dept who will be mourning the loss of these two fine men.
