Today while getting ready for one of my classes I found a letter from one of my kids. There has been a lot of drama directed at my family this week, and unfortunately my kids have had to deal with it. I was worried that the kids would be hurt, but THIS is my sons response... Mom, let them talk, and post whatever they want. You messed up once, and they are going to enjoy it. You cant stop that. Dont let them win by living every day in that one mistake because they will win if you do. Instead ignore them, but when you succeed, and you know you will, when all of us kids succeed, and you know we will, CELEBRATE, and send them an invitation. Make sure that they know one mistake did not hold you back, and no matter what they say about us WE are better then them. EVERY DAY, ALL DAY. I cried my eyes out, if your a mom you understand why. Its good to know you have instilled pried in your kids, but god knows i have never felt anything so precious as the knowledge that my son has turned out so well. As a single mom you wonder if you can raise a man. I think I did OK :)
