Todays Classic Video: I know Ill probably get a lot of flack for posting this video, but Guns N Roses`s first album is still amazing in my view! Every song on that record still holds up for being, dirty, sleazy and dangerous at the time. Mr. Brownstone, Its So Easy, Youre Crazy and Rocket Queen are all staples of what Hard Rock SHOULD be, even in 2014! The video for Sweet Child O Mine is one which I can never get tired of simply because of its stripped down approach of a band in their prime just playing the song during a time when most directors were high on Quaaludes and Cocaine (Peter Gabriels Sledgehammer anyone?). The song itself, is a perfect 10 in terms of where it starts (THAT RIFF!!!!) and where it ends. Slashs solo perfectly bringing the song to its climactic resolution. You cant ask for anything more in a Hard Rock anthem. Sorry if this is overplayed, I know it is, but crack open a beer, sit back and enjoy....
