Todays Mommism: Mom and I have a set routine..... She calls me everyday from her cell phone at exactly 10:57. This is because my aunt calls her around 11 to go to lunch. Then i call Mom once it twice throughout the rest of the day. Today she didnt call me and I overslept (I dont get up till 11 because I go to bed around 3). I called her cell and it went straight to voice mail. I called her landline, no answer. I tried to call my aunts cell but somehow the number was gone from my phone. Finally, Mom called me at 1:30. Me: Its about time...you didnt call me today Mother. Mom: Well, T Mobile was broken in Abilene. The bars on my phone went away and then T Mobile sucked the charge right out of my phone. Me: What?! Then went didnt you call me on your house phone? Mom: Oh.... I forgot I could do that! I can only hope and pray that when I am almost 82 that I stress my children out as much add my Mother does me.
