Todays Obscure Team: the Exiles The Exiles were a group of people - TopicsExpress

Todays Obscure Team: the Exiles The Exiles were a group of people infected by the deadly Theta-Virus and the cure gives them super powers. Dr. Rachel Deming decides to gather them together as a superhero team to train them. The problem is that Deming assumes that all the Exiles want to be superheroes and a series of events during their story leads to the death of the majority of the team. Their members included Catapult, their leader, Deadeye, the guy that is typically super accurate with any weapon, Ghoul, the unkillable dead guy who later joins Ultraforce, Mustang, young hot head, Tinsel, the heart of the team, and Trax, the tracker. The young Amber Hunt was suppose to join the team, but she freaks out when finding out about the virus and Demings plans for her and ultimately blows up their base and kills the majority of the team. Amber would play a role in later Exiles team. The Exiles were never meant to last longer than a mini series and werent originally designed to be part of the Ultraverse as a whole, but it lead to the massive Break-Thru crossover. During Marvels Dark September which was designed to relaunch the Malibu line as part of Marvel, the team was brought back with Juggernaut as the leader, this team would be exiled in an alternate dimension. Somehow Juggy and his Marvel cohorts made it back home and those adventures are never mentioned again. The team was then resurrected in its most popular incarnation as a combination between Sliders and Quantum Leap in the Marvel Universe with a team going to different realities with a mission to do. crossgencomicsdatabase.wikia/wiki/Exiles_%28Malibu_Comics%29
