Todays Stretch: Hamstrings. If you sit, commute, run, exercise less than you used to, or stand, you probably have tight hamstrings. Lack of motion causes your body to become tight especially the hamstrings (upper back of the legs). These muscle attach at the ischial tubosity or sits bone and cross the knee in the back. Many issues can be linked back to tight hamstrings, including lower back pain. Below is a link for stretches as well as a You Tube video showing a few variations. Notice the dog in the video.
