Todays Sunday School Lesson: Jesus Birth Foretold - Luke 1:26-40, key vs. 31. PRINCIPLE: to show that when God makes a promise, He can be counted on to keep it. APPLICATION: to encourage believers to live with a day-by-day trust in Gods prophetic word. Do you think that you are too ordinary for God to use in His Kingdom? What about Mary, a pregnant virgin! Are you not thankful to serve a God of the impossible? When God works a miracle in your life, it is favor or grace. What usually comes to your mind? Your blessing may be in the mouth of a stranger. Be careful how you treat a stranger, it might be an angel. Mary was told that she would bring forth a son, and should call his name Jesus. How is not a form of disbelief but a question of confirmation. How do you think blessings are given in your life? Note: the angel answered and said, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the POWER of the Highest shall overshadow you. I want you to know that greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). How are you becoming a disciple like Mary. Are you willing to say what Mary said, Behold the handmaid (servant) of the Lord ,let it be unto me according to thy word? WHATEVER YOU NEED, GOD GOT IT! Be a blessing in your service today.
