Todays Update: Since last nights post Taylor has done really good with her nausea. Instead of giving her two pills twice daily Im giving her half a dose four times daily and thats helping a lot. Shes still having trouble eating as much food as shes suppose too. She was awake all night but this time it wasnt because she was sick she was watching movies. So we mostly slept on and off all day today. This morning she got out of bed and went and sat in the recliner with her board and wrote Merry Christmas to Katelyn and wanted to sit in the living room and watch their shows together, which was so sweet. Shes making progress in leaps and bounds, her swelling in her face has gone down to minimal but since shes not so swollen shes starting to feel the pain more in her jaw and especially her throat. When I clean her trachea theres a lot more blood now than before and Im hoping its bc the swelling is down and its beginning to heal. Her leg is hurting her a little more than it was but she got up today and walked around the house for about 10 mins. The absolute best thing about today though is how great she looks and how big her smile is now that her face isnt swollen so much. James cooked me and Katelyn supper tonight which was super sweet Christmas surprise also! Im so thankful we were settled in time for Christmas so that we could have the wonderful relaxing day we had today. I hope you all were as blessed this Christmas as me!
