Todays a very sad day for me. Seven years ago today I lost my daddy. He had fought lung cancer for four years. I watched him go through so much, but I thank God everyday that he made a way for me to be able to be there to help care for him. Even though he was so sick I had the opportunity to spend some great times with him. From late night talks to trips to Dairy Queen for banana splits, or trips to subway for steak subs. There were several mornings that I would get up at 7:00 am and make him a yellow cake with chocolate icing or ham salad. Wish I could go back and do it all over again. I miss him so much. I will always be daddys little girl no matter how old I get. Time has made his loss tolerable. Wish you were here daddy. I love and miss you. You were and are still the greatest to me. I will see you again someday. Wish you could hold me in your arms one more time.
